Christopher Jenner started his studio in London towards the end of 2010. Born in South Africa, he graduated in Cape Town, from where he set off on a period of extended travel, living in Paris, Tel Aviv and Hong Kong. Coupled with a childhood passion for indigenous culture, this journey continues to effect an ethnographic imprint on his projects.
Story-telling forms a central role in Christopher's work. His ability to conflate the past and present, captures a magical and emotive spirit. Evident in the detail of his work is a passion for artisanal skill; a license for process led learning and exploration. In 2012 Christopher presented his first studio story with the acclaimed installation 'The Looking Glass House' and the toy-like collection Swell at the Salone del Mobile, Milano. The same year he was awarded 'Bristish Breakthrough Talent' for 2012 by FX Magazine. In 2013 Christopher was appointed Creative Director for the Eurostar. His work is regularly featured in the global press, generating valuable recognition and return for his clients.
