Olive design studio tend to design bathrooms to ensure they maintain a timeless look but also add value to a property.

It is also very important to understand the period integrity of a property as well as the client’s brief and vision.

Our clients tend to like to walk into a bathroom where it feels fresh, clean, tranquil but also practical with personality and symmetry.

Whether it be a stunning freestanding bath like the Usk overlooking the garden combined with existing period features, book matched Calacutta Oro marble feature walls in a carefully designed luxurious his and her’s shower with frameless low iron glass or a country look brought to the city with tongue and grove paneling mixed with a freestanding vanity like the Lowther sink and reproduction radiators, we always try and accommodate our client’s requests but also ensure they work in the space both as impact features and practically.

At the moment in our Private Residence interiors we are using a lot of reproduction feature elements including radiators and freestanding units mixed with polished plaster and feature marbles including Calacatta, Calacatta Oro and Statuario Venato. For Lettings refurbishments we are mixing ‘faux’ Statuario Venato marble cut railway tiles with larger ‘faux’ marble tiles with contrast high gloss lacquer vanity units and feature mirrored walls to maximize the feeling of space and light.
